Description
Kathy Spranaitis is a pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in the care of children with gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel syndrome, eosinophilic esophagitis, constipation, gastroesophageal reflux disease, abdominal pain, failure to thrive, and weight management for obesity. She is interested in research regarding the use of guided imagery for management of abdominal pain in children. Spranaitis works in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a member of the Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Nurses, as well as the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
