Dr. James Taylor graduated from Belleville Township High School East in 1986 and from the University of Missouri in Kansas City in 1991. He attended medical school at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1997. Dr. Taylor is a board-certified surgeon in the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery and has performed thousands of successful surgeries on his patients in the metro-east over the last 20 years. Dr. Taylor joined the practice of Affiliated Ankle & Foot Surgeons, LLC, in 1998, and opened Advanced Ankle & Foot Surgeons, LLC in 2009. The practice has always had a large presence in the metro-east, with locations at Memorial Hospital in Belleville and in O’Fallon, Illinois. Dr. Taylor is a man of many hobbies and interests, including trains, travel (especially to France), wine (especially from France), Rush (the band), Taylwind (his boat), and spending time with his wife, three children, dear family and friends. Dr. Bryan Guignon is from Belleville, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University. Dr. Guignon graduated from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine with his degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, and went on to complete a podiatric medicine and surgery residency with added credential in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He received extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle trauma, sports medicine and diabetic limb salvage and served as chief resident during his final year of training. Dr. Guignon is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Guignon and his wife Anne live in O’Fallon with their three children.
